The Faculty is managed by the dean, who is appointed for a four-year term and dismissed by the rector. She manages and represents the faculty externally and accounts  for her activities to the Academic Senate of the Faculty.

Dean is represented by vice-deans, secretary and other staff to the extent determined by special decision of the dean or internal regulation of UCM. The legal status, legal definition of competences regarding the dean are regulated by some relevant provisions of the Higher Education Act and UCM Statute.

Dean accounts for her activities to rector of UCM, in matters in which she acts on behalf of UCM, for the faculty management and her other activities to the extent determined by specific internal regulations of UCM.
