We also provide game development under the supervision of experts as part of the course called digital game production and post-production. Students work in teams to develop their games under the mentorship of experts from Power Play Studia.
Game Jam Plus
Students are involved in an international business accelerator where they work in teams on long-term digital game projects for one academic year. In 2022/2023, three of our games advanced from the European semi-final to the world one, with the game called Tartaros winning in two categories.
Workshop and Museum Collection of Gaming Equipment
The room where students bring old consoles back to new life is what we familiarly call a workshop. They repair consoles so that they can be reused or they enhance them. Of course, there is also space to upgrade school computers, but also other miscellaneous equipment.
The workshop is related to a museum with a collection of consoles, which was put together by the student organization Re_try. At the same time, students are preparing a room in which retro game streams and gameplay recordings will take place.

E-sports Organization TEDI BEARS
Our esports players represent the school in various tournaments. They are dedicated to competitive CS: GO, LoL and Valorant. In addition, we also support individual players (NHL, etc.). Besides the players, in games such as League of Legends, CS:GO, Valorant and others, there are coaches and managers working in the team. Students thus gain experience in team management, teamwork and cooperation. There is also space for the development of commentary and streaming skills. Our students achieve excellent results at the national and international level:

Our students also engage in streaming and commenting on digital games. Besides developing and building the brand of their own channels, the department also supports content creation on a common channel, where students, under the supervision of teachers, create their own thematic live broadcasts on the topic of digital games or other pop culture phenomena. Most often, it is Let's Play or various discussion shows, or evaluation of games created at game jams, or commenting on university team matches.

Master's degree students have a unique opportunity to participate in a course focused on the creation of simulations, games and experiential activities, including asset creation, with their subsequent market presentation in the virtual world of Second Life. The course also includes participation in the virtual hackathon called Student Challenge, where students create simulations on selected topics. In addition to a certificate, they have the opportunity to compete for attractive prizes. The virtual world of Second Life also provides space for guest lectures from virtual content creators from around the world. Students thus have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from leading designers who lectured on object creation and brand building.
