UniCON Gaming Festival
Since 2015, our faculty, in cooperation with the gaming community, has been organizing a nationwide gaming festival, where you can meet gaming teams, streamers, and YouTubers.
UnicCon is intended for everyone who loves games. In the premises of FMK UCM in Trnava, visitors can find a retro game room with old consoles, as well as new gadgets, a number of unconventional board games and the biggest virtual reality exhibition in Slovakia. All online and/or offline game enthusiasts, VR and cosplay fans will gather in the UCM Auditorium to unite the gaming community not only at FMK, but also throughout Trnava. During the three days, visitors can expect tournaments, lectures, workshops and screenings. The entire event is gamified, so for all activities you earn coins, which you can exchange for interesting prizes in the final raffle. In addition to visitor participation, you can also support the festival as a volunteer and gain precious experience with organizing such a large event.
The program includes:
- gaming tournaments with interesting prizes,
lectures, workshops and panel discussions related to online and offline gaming,
a tour of gaming equipment,
demonstrations of board and card games,
informal networking with guests,
bonus attractions for night ticket holders.
