Pursuant to the relevant provisions of UCM Internal Regulation No. 38/2023, Principles Governing the Election of a Candidate for Dean of a Faculty and the Adoption of a Proposal for the Dismissal of a Dean of a Faculty at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, including Amendment No. 1 and Amendment No. 2 thereto, and Resolution No. 15/2026 of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Mass Media Communication UCM, dated August 24, 2026, the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Mass Media Communication UCM has announced the election of a candidate for Dean of the Faculty of Mass Media Communication at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava for a four-year term of office.

The election of the candidate for Dean of the Faculty will take place at a meeting of the Electoral Assembly on November 30, 2026 at 01.00 p.m.

The Electoral Commission for the Election of a Candidate for Dean of the Faculty of Mass Media Communication, which will be established by the Electoral Assembly from amongst its members, shall determine the deadline and procedure for nominating candidates for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Mass Media Communication UCM. The Electoral Commission shall publicly announce the venue and deadline for submitting nominations on the Faculty’s and UCM’s websites no later than 21 days before the election date.

The Electoral Commission for the Election of a Candidate for Dean of the Faculty of Mass Media Communication shall determine the venue and time of the pre-election meeting of members of the Faculty’s academic community, at which the nominated candidates will present their own proposals for implementing the Faculty’s long-term development plan.
