Marketing & Media Identity 2025: FMK UCM concluded the 15th annual conference on the power of communication
The Faculty of Mass Media Communication at UCM in Trnava successfully concluded the 15th annual Marketing & Media Identity 2025 conference.
Experts gathered at the historic GOYA castle in Voderady to discuss the key theme of the M&M Identity – The Power(s) of Communication conference. They shared their views on current international trends in marketing, media, and technology.
The conference has been a regular feature of our faculty for 15 years. "After the coronavirus pandemic, we have finally managed to organize a conference with almost 200 registered participants. To be honest, we didn't even expect that," said conference organizer Associate Professor Martin Solík.

The new environment brought a representative experience
According to Solík, this year's conference was also exceptional in terms of its venue. For the first time, the conference was held at the GOYA castle in Voderady. "We decided to move the conference to a more prestigious venue again," said Solík.
There were several reasons for choosing this location: "It is close to Trnava, which is practical, but we were also enchanted by the premises, which are unique, historic, and beautiful. We wanted the participants to have an experience. We wanted them to be enriched not only intellectually, but also visually," said organizer Dr. Lenka Labudová.

Programme creation as the biggest challenge
According to Labudová, the biggest challenge in organizing this year's conference was putting together a program of speakers that would appeal not only to students, but also to academics and professionals. The resulting program was ultimately very rich.
The program included a discussion on responsibility and trust in the influencer marketing environment, featuring Samuel Kováčik alias Vedator_sk, Kristína Tormová, and Lenka Hrobárová alias skumavka. The main panel featured leading experts who enriched the discussion on the future of communication in the digital age.
The invitation was accepted, for example, by experienced communicator, trained journalist, and three-time winner of the Spokesperson of the Year award Zuzana Eliášová; TA3 news television presenter and well-known face of political discussions Branislav Král; and long-time advertising creator, film producer, and civic activist Róbert Slovák.
